Hop179’s Toronto PoP is located in a facility with direct connectivity to ONIX and regional upstreams. It is part of our dual-stack global backbone, providing IPv4 and IPv6 transit with low-latency access across North America. The PoP is connected to multiple uplinks and iBGP mesh with other Hop179 sites, and is optimized for both local and transcontinental routing.
This PoP operates as a North American edge and relay node, peering locally while maintaining stable iBGP connectivity to Europe and Asia via overlay transport. Ideal for clients requiring resilient east-coast presence with native IPv6 support.

Hop179’s Dusseldorf PoP is remote BGP only PoP. It has direct access to LocIX Dusseldorf and LocIX Frankfurt. The PoP supports dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 and has automatic BGP filtering. The PoP is connected to multiple upstreams.
This PoP is ideal for Free IP Transit over IXP. Like other locations, our Dusseldorf PoP is connected to our global backbone.

Hop179’s Swiss PoP is yet another remote BGP only PoP. It has direct access to 4B42 IXP (aka 4IXP) and SBIX Zurich. The PoP supports dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 and has automatic BGP filtering. The PoP is connected to SecureBit upstream only.
This PoP is ideal for users, who are present looking for IPv6 connectivity over 4B42 or SBIX IXPs.
